My love for Photography
My 3rd grade class was going to the zoo in Stuttgart, Germany. I was so excited to document my day. I asked my father if I could borrow his range finder camera. He dug an old Brownie camera out of the drawer and I've had a camera in my hand ever since. The Brownie still sits on my shelf today. My formal education was to study motion picture production and photography at Montana State University. I worked for six years for a national portrait studio and was published in their national catalog, before venturing out on my own to open my own business with my daughter Michelle.
My Family
I have a great family. Family is the most important thing in this world to me. We are a family of photographers. I am married to my husband Carl. We met late in life and are building a beautiful future together. My oldest daughter, Michelle, is a photographer and my business partner. She is married to Stillman and they have four cute little boys. She lives in Lewiston where together they teach ballroom dance. Next is my daughter Brigitte who is a photographer and dancer teacher. She lives in the Boise area with her husband Jeremy and they have one Son. They share a passion for foster care. Last is my son Jordan, he is married to his wife Stephanie and they have four beautiful girls and 1 son. They live here in the Boise area and adds his talents as my second shooter.
